Choose hosting for a small business website
Compare the full cost, website limits, software needs and backup arrangements before choosing a prepaid hosting term.
Start with the website you need to run
Write down whether your site is a set of static pages, a WordPress site or another application. List the features it actually uses: a database, image uploads, contact forms or scheduled tasks. Then check those requirements against the plan. A familiar control panel alone does not establish that a particular application or version is supported.
For an existing website, measure your current files and database instead of estimating from the number of pages. Leave room for growth and ask which usage limits apply. Keep mailbox storage separate in your comparison unless the offer explicitly includes it. One website, several subdomains and several independent websites are not necessarily the same allowance.
Compare the entire prepaid term
Make a short list with columns for the amount due now, term length, renewal amount, tax and separately purchased services. Compare equal terms. For example, an annual charge divided by twelve is a monthly equivalent, not an option to pay each month. A lower first-term price does not establish a lower ongoing cost.
HostMixo displays eligible offers for the selected country in USD. Review the complete term and resource limits, then confirm the amount in Nishadil Pay. A domain registration and a hosting service are separate purchases unless an offer explicitly says otherwise. Do not assume that business email, paid plugins, migration work or maintenance are included.
Plan access and recovery before moving
Check who will manage the website and retain account access under your control. Ask what backups cover, how long they are retained and how you would restore one. Keep an independent copy of important website data. A successful file download is not a tested restore: a database-driven site also needs its database and configuration.
Before changing DNS, test the new website using the supported preview method and arrange a final backup. Keep the previous hosting available until the new site and any email connections have been checked. Buying hosting alone does not move your existing website.
Your comparison checklist
- Required software and database support.
- Storage, website count and applicable usage limits.
- Full upfront amount and renewal term.
- Separate domain, email and certificate requirements.
- Backup scope, restore access and support responsibilities.
